We collaborated with Brighton Based 23 Digital to experiment with some light painting with drones. Shooting after dark up on South Downs, at old ruined building centre point for shot. We are really pleased with the shoot and it great to work on experimental shots, with another Brighton based drone company. At DoubleXAir love of drone long exposure photography, and enjoyed challenge of not flying the drone in total darkness, but also flying 2 drones together in pitch black.
Working with Lume Cubes attached to DJI Mavic 2, made light trails in sky with the drone. Are captured their results on 30s long exposure with our GH5 camera. The image above is favourite shot of night, although shot about 30 different images. We look forward to working with 23 Digital again soon on more light painting with drones projects.
